Marc Vael is a well-known security and privacy expert from Belgium with over 20 years of experience. He is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Esko. Marc holds certifications in information security (CISM/CISSP), IT risk management (CRISC), and is a certified board director (GUBERNA).
Marc is a visiting lecturer at several prestigious institutions, including Antwerp Management School, Solvay Brussels School, TIAS Tilburg, and KdG Antwerp. In 2012, he was elected Fellow of the Hogeheuvelcollege at KUL in recognition of his contributions to the IT industry.
