Leverage AI to Boost Both Skills and Task Efficiency

How a Task-First Lens Can Unlock Workforce Potential

More detailed information

Organizations increasingly promote skills-based strategies, but many overlook the value of task-based performance. In this keynote, Marc Ramos presents a powerful case for balancing the two and shows how AI thrives in task optimization. He argues that a task-first mindset, supported by data and AI, leads to more measurable performance gains.

Marc explores why many skills-based models underdeliver, citing misaligned taxonomies, overcomplication, and weak ties to business outcomes. Through this lens, he emphasizes the value of shifting focus toward the enabling tasks that actually drive success.

Using compelling examples and case studies, Ramos shows how AI can streamline task execution and reveal hidden productivity gains. Attendees will explore the real difference between skills for future potential versus tasks for immediate impact.

This session also confronts the human side of transformation, including perceived competence, change fatigue, and leadership expectations. Leaders will walk away with a more balanced framework for learning and development that values both skills and the high-leverage tasks that bring them to life.
