The Purpose is People: Reframing Modern Work in the Age of AI

How HR and L&D Can Design Work With AI, Not Just Around It
More detailed information
As AI reshapes how work gets done, leaders face a critical choice: redesign work with intent or let automation erode its purpose. In this provocative keynote, Marc Ramos reframes AI not as a replacement for people, but as a strategic partner in reshaping tasks, workflows, and roles with humanity at the core.
Structured around four parts, the session begins by introducing key distinctions between work with AI, work suitable for AI, and work best done without AI. Ramos presents five frameworks to rethink jobs and redesign workflows that align human value with machine intelligence.
He also shares eight leadership lessons drawn from experience navigating hype, anxiety, and AI transformation across global teams. Topics include workforce impact planning, role evolution, and strategic change management to ensure responsible adoption.
This keynote offers a fresh blueprint for HR, Talent, and L&D professionals ready to lead with purpose. It focuses not just on technology, but on how work evolves around people, meaning, and long-term impact.
