AI’s Impact on HR: The Three Horizons

Understanding Where We Are, What’s Next, and What to Watch For
More detailed information
Artificial intelligence is transforming HR, but not all changes are created equal. In this keynote, Marc Ramos explores AI's impact across three distinct horizons: current practices, emerging developments, and long-term transformations that could redefine the profession. This structured approach helps HR and learning leaders grasp the full picture and prepare for what’s next.
Marc begins by outlining where AI is already reshaping HR today—from talent acquisition to personalized employee experience. He highlights practical tools and case studies that demonstrate value, while also acknowledging the limits of current systems.
The second horizon focuses on near-future capabilities, including AI-assisted decision-making, generative talent insights, and task automation. Ramos examines where cautious experimentation is turning into strategic deployment, and where leaders need to build readiness now.
Finally, the third horizon addresses broader shifts in the role of HR. As AI agents and predictive tools mature, HR professionals will be called to orchestrate systems rather than simply manage them. The session offers insights, warnings, and concrete frameworks for embracing this next evolution of people leadership.
