Change Hacking – Workshop

Growing with change in uncertain times
More detailed information
How do you stay successful, motivated and relevant when the world around you is changing faster than ever? And how do you turn insights about change into things you can do differently at work tomorrow?
Mergers and acquisitions, new structures and systems, the rise of artificial intelligence, shifting skill requirements: change is no longer a project, but a constant. Even experienced and motivated employees sometimes feel stress, resistance or change fatigue. Inspiration alone is not enough. People need tools they have experienced and practised using themselves.
That is why this workshop picks up where the keynote leaves off. Change Hacking focuses on the human side of change: you cannot control every change, but you can choose how you respond. In this interactive session, participants do more than discover how this works. They experience it firsthand. Florence guides them through the most useful change hacks from her book Survivalgids voor tijden van verandering (A Survival Guide for Times of Change), applying them to their own challenges, both at work and in their personal lives.
The workshop combines individual reflection with paired conversations, group discussions and practical exercises.
Participants learn to:
Break down a challenge into what they can control, what they can influence and what they need to accept, helping them regain a sense of control.
Take a more objective, balanced view of a specific change in their organisation: what stays the same, what do they gain and what do they lose?
Recognise their instinctive response to change through an unexpected twist during the workshop.
Experience how resistance and the “yes, but…” reflex affect a group’s energy, and what happens when they shift to “yes, and…”
By working in mixed groups, participants also learn from colleagues in other departments and gain exposure to different perspectives. This helps break down silos and build new connections.
Florence brings inspiring, relatable examples and practical tools that employees can immediately apply in their everyday work. The workshop is realistic without dramatising challenges, and energetic without resorting to empty motivational messages.
After this workshop, participants will be able to:
Recognise their automatic responses and resistance to change, and respond with greater calm and resilience.
Focus on what they can control and influence.
Turn change and uncertainty into curiosity and opportunities.
Apply practical change hacks to their own challenges, both at work and in their personal lives.
Help colleagues embrace change through their everyday behaviour.
Actively seek out other departments and perspectives.
Leave with a personal Change Hacking plan to guide how they approach change.
